On April 24, the Albanian state-owned energy corporation, KESH, announced the commencement of tender procedures for two one-year insurance contracts aimed at safeguarding its assets. The total budget allocated for these contracts amounts to 192 million leks, equivalent to approximately $2 million or 1.9 million euros.
According to a tender notice released by KESH, one of the contracts, valued at an estimated 173 million leks, will provide coverage for several hydropower plants owned by KESH, including those located in Koman, Vau i Dejes, and Fierze. Additionally, the insurance will extend to KESH’s information center and warehouse situated in Durres.
The second contract, with a value of 18.3 million leks, will cater to insurance services for the equipment housed within a thermal power station located in the southern city of Vlore.
Interested parties are invited to submit their offers for both tenders, with the deadline for submission set for May 15.
