March 2025 – Sydney, Australia – Marsh has announced the appointment of Dean Mumm as its new Pacific Sales Leader, effective immediately.
Mumm, who joined Marsh in 2017, brings a wealth of leadership experience to his new role. Previously serving as the head of Corporate Sport, he will now oversee business development and market expansion strategies across the Pacific region. Mumm will report directly to Josh Roach, CEO of Marsh Pacific, and Marcus Pearson, Chief Commercial Officer of Marsh McLennan Pacific.
With a distinguished background in professional rugby, Mumm played 11 seasons, making 112 appearances for the Waratahs and representing Australia in 57 test matches. He also captained the national team during his career.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mumm co-founded Borne HMRI, an initiative dedicated to supporting research on preterm birth in partnership with his wife. The program is housed at the Hunter Medical Research Institute.
This appointment signals Marsh’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership in the Pacific market.
