United Overseas Insurance (UOI) has proposed a final dividend of $0.085 per share and a special dividend of $0.060 per share for the financial year 2024.
Subject to shareholder approval, the combined dividend payout will total $8.9 million, with distribution scheduled for 16 May. The dividends will be paid in full without any additional tax liability for shareholders.
Including the interim dividend of $0.085 per share disbursed on 15 August 2024, UOI’s total dividend for the year amounts to $0.23 per share, bringing the overall payout to $14.1 million.
Shareholders’ entitlements will be determined based on their shareholdings after the settlement of all trades on 6 May. The company will distribute the dividends to The Central Depository (CDP), which will subsequently allocate the funds to securities account holders.
