FWD Group Expands Board with Three New Directors

FWD Group Holdings has announced the appointment of three new directors to its board, effective immediately. The new members are Andrew Weir, Dominic Leung Ka Kui, and Laura Deal-Lacey.

In addition to the new appointments, FWD Group also confirmed the retirement of Richard Sun Po Yuen from the board. With these changes, the company’s board now consists of 13 members, including two executive directors, two non-executive directors, and nine independent non-executive directors.

Andrew Weir, the former Global Chair of Asset Management at KPMG, brings over 37 years of experience advising boards and audit committees throughout Asia and the Middle East.

Dominic Leung, an experienced professional in the insurance industry, has held senior roles at Ping An Group and Prudential.

Laura Deal-Lacey, an executive at the Milken Institute, has been on the board of FWD Singapore since 2016 and currently serves as its chair.

These appointments are part of FWD Group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership and governance framework.
