Manulife Singapore has upgraded its iFUNDS platform, streamlining Unit Trust and Investment-Linked Plan management for financial consultants.
Streamlined Platform Improves Efficiency for Financial Advisors
Manulife Singapore and Manulife Investments have unveiled an update to the Manulife iFUNDS platform, offering a more efficient tool for financial consultants. This upgrade gives advisors a unified view of their clients’ Unit Trust (UT) and Investment-Linked Plan (ILP) holdings.
In addition, the update now allows for Unit Trust transactions directly within the platform, improving both operational efficiency and client servicing.
Integration of Insurance and Investment Operations
Originally launched in 2018, Manulife iFUNDS offers digital investment tools and portfolio insights for financial consultants. The new enhancement integrates data from both the insurance and investment sectors, allowing consultants to manage both ILP and UT portfolios in one place.
This removes the need for consultants to switch between different systems, making their work faster and more efficient.
Streamlined Advisory Services for Better Client Guidance
Khoo Poh Huat, Chief Distribution Officer at Manulife Singapore, emphasized that the update simplifies the advisory process. By combining the management of both UT and ILP portfolios, consultants are better equipped to provide clients with more comprehensive financial guidance and deeper insights.
Key Benefits of the iFUNDS Update
- Unified platform for managing both UT and ILP portfolios.
- Direct transactions for Unit Trusts within the platform.
- Improved operational efficiency for financial consultants.
- Better financial guidance for clients through integrated data.
