Howden has announced the appointment of Marut Pommalee as its new Chief Client Officer for Thailand, marking a significant step in expanding its operations in the region.
Industry Veteran to Lead Thailand’s Client Strategy
Marut Pommalee joins Howden with more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Previously, he served as the Managing Director at Sabuy Maxi, a strategic joint venture with Howden launched in 2021. His extensive background includes working with corporate clients, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and global insurers.
Focus on Insurance and Risk Solutions
In his new role, Pommalee will lead Howden Thailand’s go-to-market strategy. He will oversee coordination across sales, client servicing, and partnerships. His main focus will be on delivering a range of insurance and risk solutions, including Property and Casualty, Employee Benefits, Marine Cargo, Financial Lines, and Specialty lines.
