Jian Xiong Joins Amundi in Key Regional Role
Amundi has appointed Jian Xiong as its new Asia Insurance Specialist, effective 5 May 2025. He will be based in Singapore and will report to Eddy Wong, CEO for Asia, and Lawrence Wee, head of Institutional Sales, South Asia.

In this new role, Xiong will help grow Amundi’s investment offerings for insurance clients across Asia. He will develop tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of the regional insurance market.
15 Years of Industry Experience
Xiong brings more than 15 years of experience in asset management, insurance, and banking. Before joining Amundi, he was a senior director in the APAC Insurance Solutions team at abrdn. He is also a member of the Expert Committee at the Insurance Asset Management Association of China.
His past roles include senior positions at China Life Insurance Singapore and Prudential Assurance.
Strong Academic and Professional Credentials
Xiong holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore. He is also a CFA and FRM charter holder, underscoring his deep expertise in financial risk and investment management.
