Komandnyi has 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. His background includes extensive work in health insurance. He began his career at KPMG and spent over ten years at Allianz Russia. There, he served in senior roles, including Chief Sales Officer.

After his time at Allianz Russia, Komandnyi became Chief Health Officer at a leading local insurer. He managed an employee benefits portfolio worth more than $1.14 billion (€1 billion). This experience has prepared him for his new global role.
