At a recent press conference in Lagos, Prisca Soares, Chair of the 2025 Awards Panel of Judges, emphasized that while awareness of insurance is growing, the industry still faces a low penetration rate—with coverage reaching less than 1% of Nigeria’s 200+ million people.
